EDDIE'S PORTABLE PIG-OUT: WEDDINGS

Overview:

If you're looking for a classic, multi-course fancy affaire with linens, uniformed white gloved servers, fine china, ice sculptures, full open bar...I'm not the best guy for your job.     Plain and Simple.      People call me when they're looking to have a casual, yet awesome party.....with great food.....while keeping the costs "Down to Earth"..      

I normally offer "Mid-Level" fanciness for the presentation.    Plastic Tablecloths as opposed to linens, Wireframe Steamtables as opposed to the Fancy Metal ones, Single-use Plastic Utensils, Heavy Duty Paper Plates....  Well, you get the idea.      Casual, Non-pretentious.   Functionality over Fanciness.    (Of course, we can get involved with all sorts of rentals to fancy things up, but it's off my beaten path and adds considerable costs to the affair.   Your call.)      One thing's for sure, we don't skimp on the food!    

My operation is diverse.   I can cater in a field, a backyard, a parking lot, on Church grounds, or a fancy hall.   The venue itself plays a large role in what I can accomplish.    Backyard parties support BBQ's/Pigroasts whereas a fancy hall with a commercial kitchen opens up many, more formal, options.    I also should mention that I have at my disposal some classically trained chefs who can put together a surprisingly high-end affair.     Best bet is to call me and tell me what you had in mind.

Pig Roasts: All Over the Place:

I'm frequently hired to run Pig-Roasts for Luau Themed Parties, whether it be for a wedding or some other celebration.      (The Common Scenario:  The Bride & Groom's actual Wedding Ceremony was held in Hawaii, to a small party of immediate family.   And they follow up with a less formal Luau Themed party for "Everyone Else" back at home).          Usually, the Luau Themed parties are homegrown style events, with decorating and secondary food items coming from family/friends....with the main attraction being the "Fancy Presentation" of the Roasted Pig.       And of course, we're frequently asked to provide all the food too!      These events combine "casual", with "elegance" for a unique affair.       Click over to "pigroast.htm" for links to pricing info, FAQ's, and Pics. 

White Meadow Lake Country Club, Rockaway NJ:

I've done two weddings here so far.  One was a catering collaboration, and a fancier one done solely by EPPO.      This was a gorgeous facility, perfect for people arranging their own weddings.   The kitchen supported this job well.   The equipment set supports many options that I simply can't offer for a backyard party, or a party in a field.    We're taking commercial kitchen here...with walk-in fridge, commercial convection ovens, automatic dishwashing system.  

NY State Renaissance Festival:

Another option is at the NY State Renaissance Festival, near Tuxedo Park NY (Just over the NY/NJ Border on Rt 17).   Total BBQ format here (Pigroasts might be more difficult), and can be tailored to fit the Renaissance Theme (i.e. Smoked Turkey Drumsticks, Steak on Stick, London Broil, etc.).    The logistics are very difficult for this facility because they don't allow vehicles in the park during festival hours (all apparatus must be hand carried back to the vehicles).  Hence a "logistical surcharge" for extra labor & vehicles.      But it's still a fun place.     Call: 914-351-5171 to inquire about the NYSRF.  I've created a special page just for this particular venue.  Please click "HERE".
