A Discussion About the Images We Need:
All clients are asked to provide digital pictures of the event location. Please email them directly to eddiezucker@optonline.net. In most cases, this eliminates the need for a site survey (Which we now charge for). But more importantly, it rapidly illuminates any logistical hurdles that can interfere with the performance of your job. A very important step towards a successful party.
-Overall Layout: We’re looking to see the overall layout of your property, how we orient the truck/trailer, and how we can access the foodservice zone. We’re specifically looking for anything that can impede logistics, like low hanging branches, unusual driveway slopes, Gates/Fences, or the lack of available space. Also looking for poor work surfaces, like sand, mud.
Ridiculous shots, but you'd be surprised what comes our way.
-Pictures of Where the Driveway Meets the street: We need to know if the “skirt” is too tall to back the truck/trailer up. The hitch may scrape.
-Food Service Area: We'd like to see pictures of the actual foodservice area (or choice of areas), where you want us to park and set up the equipment. Special concern is if parking is separate from cooking area. Looking to see if we have enough space. Looking for anything unusual. Use common sense, take pictures of anything you think can get in the way of easy logistics, or otherwise cause problems.
-Rain Plan: Will the tent placement force a different setup? Will you place us in an outbuilding or a cleared out garage? Please take pics. Huge concern is separation between truck/trailer and where the work is performed.
