My Main Gig:

The one that pays the mortgage.  I'm an Engineer for the US Army at ARDEC (Picatinny Arsenal, Dover NJ).    I'm now a Customer Support Engineer for the Prototype Hardware Fabrication Team (the Metal Shop) where I assist with the design of Gunner Protection Kits, among other things.  Mainly into Computer Aided Design and whatever fires need putting out.    12 years, 11 months, 15 days, 9 hours and 35 seconds till I retire.   You get the picture.  I'm doing time.

An Old Gig...

That would be SCUBA Diving.   I've been certified since 1984, and accumulated the following certifications:   PADI Open Water, NAUI Advanced Open Water, PADI Rescue Diver, PADI Drysuit Diver, PADI Ice Diver, PADI Rapid Deployment, PADI Blackwater Search & Rescue,  PADI Divemaster (PADI 170412), YMCA SLAM.    From 1990 to 2002, I was a member of the Denville Volunteer Fire Department as a Public Safety Diver and EMT.    Up till 2004, I acted as as a DiveMaster for Elite Divers.    I do some freelance SCUBA diving as well...(recoveries, projects, construction)...usually for giggles, but paying jobs are nice..(airfills, gas, replacement of broken/lost equipment still costs me some, ya know!).    Right now, due to catering, my SCUBA career is in remission, unfortunately.

Another Old Gig:

From Jan 1990 to March 2002, I was a member of the Denville Volunteer Fire Department as a NJ State Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a Public Safety Diver.   (I'm no longer an active member or an EMT).    Click Here to read about my experience on 9/11/01, where I responded to the WTC terrorist attacks.
