EDDIE'S PORTABLE PIG-OUT:
BBQs & PICNICS
This is what we're best known for!!! A close cousin to "Tailgate Parties" where I have almost 20 Years Experience!!!
We pull into your backyard or a picnic grove of your choice, set up shop, and feed your crowd in style! Pig Roasts are possible. But quicker and easier may be Grilled-to-Order Foods, lots of fresh salads, hot and cold sides! Whatever your choice is, we'll impress you and your guests. Click over to the menu page to see some suggested menus, or other available options. Click over to the equipment page to get the idea about the equipment that supports these types of events.
All you have to do is kick back, relax, and let us do all the work. There's no skimping here. The typical compliant: "I ate too much"!!
Disclaimer: I'm tossing around the term "BBQ" very loosly here. If you're like most people who call me for "A BBQ", you consider Grilled foods slathered with tomato- based BBQ sauce as "REAL BBQ". The wording on this page was intended for you.. On the other hand, if you're from the Southern BBQ Belt, a BBQ Purist, or a "Foodie", then you'd crucify me for my use of the term. Quite simply, grilled foods just ain't BBQ! Real BBQ is "low and slow" (Typically 225-250 degrees, and the cooking times are unusually long), usually smoked in a pit or in a large smoker. The smokey flavor comes from hardwoods, such as Oak, Hickory, Mesquite, or Applewood. A wide variety of sauces/mops and/or dry rubs depending upon regional differences throughout the country.. BBQ Purists might actually be more interested in my pig roasts/meatfests/ribfests where I can approximate "Real BBQ" a little bit better... Now don't be scared off...all grilled foods will be awesome, and that's what best lends itself to mobile catering where there are many other logistical factors to consider. But I have too much respect for the term 'BBQ". I wanted to be clear about this, just for the sake of the one or two people who really do know the difference.
Please Call (973) 627-2722 to Discuss Your Event. Usually 6pm-10pm, Weeknights. Please leave a Message otherwise. Also be sure to mention the potential date(s), estimated headcount, location, and the nature of the event. Thanks!
